Graduated with a master’s degree in Cosmetology from ISIPCA, in France, Céline Carrasco-Douroux joined the Symrise Innovation laboratory in 2007, first as a formulator, then as project manager, before being promoted as Laboratory Manager and finally Director of Applied Research Europe since January 2023. In this role, she builds on her numerous areas of expertise: the formulation and development of perfume innovations such as alcohol-free eaux de toilette; the development of new measurement tools for sensory performance analysis; and the use of neuroscience for measuring the emotions liked to perfumes, a topic that fascinates her.
