Claire VIOLA, VP Digital Strategy, Fragrance Division at Symrise

Based in Paris, France, Claire is in charge of the digital strategy for the fragrance division at Symrise.
She owns an MBA from EM Lyon business school, and has over 20 years experience in the fragrance and beauty industry.
Passionate about fragrance creation and open innovation, she started her carreer in 1996 with Unilever and L’Oréal in international product development, before joining the fragrance houses in 2001 (Dragoco, Givaudan) as Fine Fragrance development manager, in Paris and in New York.
She then took a Sales position in 2007, before becoming the Global account director Fragrance for L’Oréal in 2013.
Since 2019, she is in charge of developing the digital strategy for the Symrise fragrance division. She is also part of the Symrise sustainability board
