Co-founder of AFYREN in 2012, Jérémy Pessiot is today Director of Innovation, Deputy Managing Director of the Company and Director of its industrial subsidiary, AFYREN NEOXY.

A doctor in microbiology and bioprocesses, Jérémy Pessiot started his career by launching the AFYREN project at the end of his studies at the Blaise Pascal University in Clermont-Ferrand, France. His expertise in microbiology and bioprocesses enabled him to conceptualize and validate the model representing today’s AFYREN technology. This expertise coupled with a state of mind turned towards industrial application has made it possible to go through the stages of process development, from the laboratory to the factory, and to go from a team of 2 people to more than 70 today.
