Fragrance Innovation Summit 2026
November 25, 2026 | Paris
Having transformed creation, product development, and marketing, artificial intelligence is now reshaping consumer behavior itself. Guided by ChatGPT and other conversational assistants, as well as AI-powered search engines capable of instantly comparing hundreds of fragrances, identifying lower-cost alternatives, decoding scent profiles, or uncovering previously unknown brands, consumers now wield unprecedented influence over their purchasing decisions.
This shift is rewriting the rules for the entire fragrance industry. Brands no longer control the narrative surrounding their creations and must contend with the rapid rise of dupes and AI-driven recommendations. Fragrance houses and ingredient suppliers are seeing their expertise exposed to even greater transparency.
At the same time, AI is unlocking entirely new possibilities. Hyper-personalized fragrance recommendations, made-to-order creations, and neuroscience-driven approaches to emotion: as artificial intelligence makes the seemingly impossible both possible and accessible, expectations are rising just as quickly.
This new landscape presents as many opportunities as it does challenges. How can brands preserve the value of creativity when AI enables constant comparison? How can they build desirability when conversational interfaces increasingly shape consumer choices? How can innovation remain distinctive as imitation accelerates? And above all, how can the fragrance experience evolve to deliver what artificial intelligence can never truly replicate: emotion, surprise, human connection, and desire?
